We have a problem. The parents of William Ross "Ross" Spicer, and John Curtis "Curt" Spicer, were given to us as Phileman (Filmore or Fillmore) Spicer, and Mary Alice "Alice" Francisco. The obituary gives his parents as Gub and Mary Elizabeth Francisco Spicer. (? This needs more research!).
The obituary of his wife, Lilly Beatrice "Batie" Jordan Spicer, gives her parents as Jim and Mary E. Ringo Jordan, which is also slightly wrong. Her parents were James Stone "Jim" Jordan, and Elizabeth Jane "Jane" Ringo; we know this to be correct! Obituary information is always suspect! Families do not always have the correct information, as we have found in the years of our research in genealogy!
