: William Nickerson, age 33, a weaver, and his wife Anne, age 28, were interviewed on 8 April 1637 for the record of ships and passengers. They had four children: "Nicho, Robartt, Elizabeth and Anne" and stated their desire to emigrate to Boston in New England.''The Founders of New England'', NEHGR Vol 14, page 325 On the same page of the record, six entries above the Nickerson's, is "Nichol Busbie", of Norwich, a weaver age 50, with his wife Bridgett age 53 and four children: "Nicho, John, Abraham and Sarah" who desire to emigrate to Boston, New England. The Busbies are Anne Nickerson's parents and siblings.

== Research Notes ==: NICHOLSON, NICKERSON, ''The pioneers of Massachusetts, 1620 - 1650'', page 329:: "William, weaver, age 33, of Norwich, England, with wife Anne, age 28, and children Nicholas, Robert, Elizabeth and Anne, passed examination in April, 1637, to go to New England and settled at Boston. Made Freeman on May 22, 1638. They removed to Yarmouth; bought lands of the Indians at Manamoiet before 1 December 1663. His sons-in-law, Robert Eldred [Eldrech], Nathaniel Covell, and Tristram Hedges were in Court with him on 31 October 1666, on account of a letter he had written defaming Governor Hinckley. His sons: Nicholas, Robert, Samuel, John, and Joseph joined with them in a petition for land at Manamoiet, 5 June 1667. His daughter, Elizabeth married at Yarmouth, last week of Oct. 1649, Robert Eldred [Eldrech]. His wife Anne received a legacy from her father, Nicholas Busbey, in 1660."
