== Biography ==Esther White was probably born in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Plymouth Colony, about 1685 based on her age at death, the daughter of [[White-2097|Jonathan White]] and his first wife [[Nickerson-120|Hester Nickerson]].Wakefield, Robert S. John Drake's will, dated 16 June 1733 at East Greenwich, Rhode Island and proved 30 June 1733, named his wife Esther, Desire Arnold wife of John, Fear Smith wife of Christopher, daughter Elizabeth Drake under age 18, and son Francis under 21. The inventory of his estate called him a mariner.
She was named in her father's will, dated 14 July 1736, as Esther Drake. In a release dated 14 November 1741 in her father's probate file she was said to be deceased. Esther Drake died on 23 July 1738 aged 53, "wife of Capt.
