Enfant(s):
P. (Peter) Brusse started a Trading Company Importing spices and other products from the Netherlands East Indies in 1860. This company was registered as "P.Brusse Company". Peter became a very succesful business man. His Trading company was later continued by his son P. Asbeek Brusse Jr. in 1907.
Peter, like his brother Evert in the Netherlands East Indies, started to use the double surname ASBEEK BRUSSE around 1870. His children are registered in the Civil Registry of Amsterdam under the name BRUSSE and also as ASBEEK BRUSSE.
Peter is mentioned as a witness of several weddings in the Brusse family. It is in these official documents that we notice the name change from BRUSSE to ASBEEK BRUSSE.
