It was stated in the National Militia Certificate that Wilhelmus occupation was labourer, registered for draft of 1827 and draw was # 83 and that he was exempt from draft. As description stood: Height: 1 yard 753 stripes; Countenance: full; Forehead: round; Eyes: grey; Nose: ? Mouth: the same; Chin; round; Hair and Eyebrow: brown; Noticeable markings: scar on nose. In the place of the signature stood that after presumption Wilhelmus declared that he could not write.
Wilhelmus past away at 12.00 hr. Notice of death was done on the 17th of February 1864 by his sons Albertus, 32 year, occupation labourer and Cornelis, 25 year, occupation tailor.

Witness to the wedding were Hermanus van der Wart, 58 year, occupation carriage-driver; Jan Peters, 55 year, occupation tobacconist; Steven Wanders, 45 year, occupation carriage-driver; Fredrik Melohior Minkman, 44 year, occupation labourer. All resided in Wageningen and were not related or kinship to the couple.
The marriage proposal took also place in Nijkerk on the 9th and 16th of November 1828 because the bride lived there just before her marriage. It was stated in the marriage document that the bride and the bridegroom both could not read or write. In the marriage certificate Catharina Schmitz was written as Schmit.
