1910 1917 - Daughter Elsie born; 1931 - Mother died; 50 yrs old at death; Obituary: Streator Times-Press Oct 2 1945, DEATH TAKES LEO KALUZA Leo Kaluza, aged 50, son of the later Mr and Mrs John Kaluza, of this city, died suddenly in his home, 1308 Liberty street, in Aurora at an early hour Monday morning following a heart attack. Services will be held in a catholic church at Aurora Thursday at 9:30, after which the body will be brought to St. Stephen's church here, arriving at 11:20 o'clock. Interment will take place in the local cemetery. Mr Kaluza was born in this city in 1895 and grew to manhood here. His Marriage with Agnes Tutko, occurred in St. Stephen's church and they became the parents of two children, Mrs. Walter Johnson of Florida and Edward Kaluza, warrant officer in the US Navy, who are left with their mother. Mr. Kaluza also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Harry French and Mrs John Gall of this city, and Mrs. Louis Zilko of Danville. a Brother John Kaluza, preceded him in death. Mr. Kaluza and family went to Aurora about 15 years ago were he was employed as a cabinet worker by the Kroehler Furniture Company. He was the youngest member of his immediate family.
