It is possible that your Asher J-L70 line might possibly have Sephardic ancestry because there are hispanics on that branch of J2 also, but their common ancestor with Asher probably lived more than a thousand years ago. I think it is likely that this ancestor was a Mizrahi Jew, some of whose descendants went to Iberia while others went to Germany or France.
