Readsboro is a town in Bennington County, Vermont, United States. The town was named for John Reade, a landholder. The population was 809 at the 2000 census. It was 857 as of 1859. It"s hamlet, Heartwellville, i.e. Hooterville borders Readsboro about 5 miles up Rt. 100. Much like Luke's dwelling that is on the outskirts of Mos Eisley on Tattoine.
