Levi was the youngest son. He was born in 1912 and dies in 1977 here in Graham, both born and died here. I remember a little about him when I was younger. As I remember he looked alot like his father as did my grandfather Roy [ Mac ]. He worked in the oilfields in west Texas in the 60's.

G.W. Rose, age 79, who accidentally shot himself at his home in the city late Sunday afternoon is reported to be in critical condition at the Graham Hospital.

Funeral Services were held from the First Baptist Church in this city last Friday afternoon at 3:00 for G.W. Rose, 79, who passed away in the Graham Hospital after a short illness. Rev. Dallas Lee, pastor of the church officiated. Interment was made in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Maples Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rose was born in Texas on Dec. 19,1865 and united with the Baptist Church in Young County in 1900. He was married to Miss Emma Ballew [ Belyeu ] at De Leon on May 10,1891. They moved to Young county in 1906, remaining here until 1927 when they moved to Ranger, returning to this county several years later to make their home.
Survivors are his wife and 3 sons, and 4 daughters. They are: R.M. Rose and G.P. Rose of Bunger, R.L. Rose with U.S. Marine Corps, Mrs. Corda Gibbs and Mrs. Norma Bernard of this city, Mrs. Cora D? [ I couldn't read this last name ] of Newcastle And Mrs. Viola Williams of Ft. Worth. Other survivors are 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. T.J. Wheat of Ranger and Mrs. Bessie Curby of Eastland.
Pallbearers were: Perry Nichols, John Ruberkeonig, Dan Cusenberry, Ben Johnson, C.E. Hipp and Gilbert Newby.
His death cert. says that the cause of death was shotgun shot to the head and if suicide, homicide or accident.. it says " Don't Know ". The paper for Emma Rose was lost in a fire.
She is also buried at the Oak Grove Cemetery beside George. Norma and Levi are buried beside Emma.
