I am looking for information on the families of Job and Charlotte MCCALEB(MCCALEP,MCKILLIP) who were living in Hamilton County in 1870. Their daughter, Evaline married William MCKENZIE, son of John MCKENZIE. The MCKENZIES lived in Meigs and James counties while in TN and possibly Roane and Rhea counties. They were living in GA around 1890 and moved to PA sometime between 1892 and 1910 where they first lived in Pittsburgh, then Fayette Co. The MCKENZIES were considered mulatto and I have heard the MCCALEBS may have been NA, possibly Cherokee and possibly related to John RIDGE, Pathkiller. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
