John was afterwards tacksman of Invershiel, and lived to a very advanced age, his descendants to the fourth generation being at his funeral in Kildnich. He married Anne Macrae, and had issue at least four sons:" Alexander, Donald Buidhe, Christopher Roy, Farquhar.
