Virginia passed away at Emeritus at Roslyn
in Denver, CO. She is survived by her loving
husband of 47 years, Cash "Bart" Bartimus;
Her daughters, Pam (Joe) Gorski; Patty (Jon) Kent, and Paula (Kevin) Molick; grandchildren, Jeff (Jenny) Gorski; Paul (Crystal) Gorski; Jill Gorski (Brian Smalley); Chris Geddes (Mary Klute); Stephanie Quintana; Simone Valdez, and Peter and Alex Molick; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Preston Gorski; Grey Gorski; Taelyn and Maddox Edwards, and Ian Geddes; sister, Mary (Robert) Eichorn of Galesburg, IL, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William F. Huber; great-grandson, Adonis Jordan Jones; her parents, Edward and Rena Catcott; brothers, William and Robert; sisters, Ruth, Jane, Carol, and Jodie, and her niece, Linda. Virginia was a long time resident of Grand Junction, involved early on in Newcomers and was a longtime member of Brush & Palette.
For many years she enjoyed volunteering regularly at The Western Colorado Center for the Arts. She loved baking, sewing, reading and enjoyable afternoons with her needlework group. Virginia created extensively in many art forms which brought joy, delight and awe in all who knew her.
