John M. Garrick, 63, of Blackville, died Jan. 17, 2009 at his home.Memorialservice will be held at a later date in the Norway Cemetery, Norway.Mole Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Garrickwas born on Feb. 28, 1945 in Charleston. He was the son of the lateHarris and Custis Kittrell Garrick. He was an Army veteran and hadretired from the Naval Shipyard in Charleston. Survivors includetwo daughters, Brooke Garrick Beasley of Lyman and Amy Garrick ofBarnwell; three sisters, Joan Bean of Lilburn, Ga., Peggy (Robert O.)Collins of Blackville and Renee (Foster Terry) Williams of SatelliteBeach Fla. and one granddaughter.Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.The People-Sentinel 01/28/09

John M. Garrick, 63, of Blackville, passed away on January 17, 2009, at his home.
John was born on Feb. 28, 1945, in Charleston. He was the son of the late Harris and Custis Kittrell Garrick. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired from the Naval Shipyard in Charleston. He enjoyed life's simple things and loved his family. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by daughters, Brooke Garrick Beasley of Lyman and Amy Garrick of Barnwell; granddaughter, Reese Caroline Beasley of Lyman; sisters, Joan Bean of Lilburn, Ga., Peggy (Robert O.) Collins of Blackville and Renee (Foster Terry) Williams of Satellite Beach, Fla.; eight nieces and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Norway Cemetery, Norway.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
