Kenneth Edward Kittrell died after a brief illness on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Newton Medical Center in Newton. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at the First Presbyterian Church in Arkansas City. Interment will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Ken was born July 9, 1954, in Arkansas City, the youngest child of Dorothy Wheeler Kittrell and Raymond S. Kittrell. Ken was a graduate of Arkansas City High School. Ken was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his sisters, Sarah Kittrell Penner, of Hillsboro, Kan., and Virginia Kittrell LeSieur, and her husband, Donald LeSieur, of Cape Cod, Mass.; and his brother, James Kittrell, and his wife, Ruth Steiner Kittrell, of Amherst, Mass.; and nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dorothy Kittrell; his brother-in-law, Charles Penner; three nieces and two nephews.
