Edna Phillips Dillingham, 96, formerly of 109 Mimosa Dr., died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at Brookview HealthCare Center.A native of Cherokee County she was the widow of Willard Dillingham and was first married to the late Walter A. Bailey. She was the daughter of the late A.W. Phillips Sr. and the late Minnie Harmon Phillips. Mrs. Dillingham was a retired textile employee and a member of Southside Baptist Church.Surviving are two daughters, Madge b. Gardner of Charlotte and Annette Mintz of Gaffney; a son, Bobby Dillingham of Gaffney; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Horace Phillips of Gaffney; a sister, Louise Rauth of Greensboro, N.C.In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. Dillingham was preceded in death by three sisters, Gertrude Lowery, Janell Harris and Irene Brown, and seven brothers, Clyde, Alonzo, Levys, Dever, Howard, A.W. Jr., and Rosco Phillips.
