Deceased Name: Paul N. Kittrell
LOUISBURG -- Paul Newcomb Kittrell, age 74, a resident of 102 Rex Place, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2003.
A native of Vance County, he was the son of the late Egbert Lee and Agnes Woodlief Kittrell. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 21 years of service and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of the Plank Chapel United Methodist Church, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Tom Hollis and the Rev. Charles M. Cook. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by: his wife, Jane Frazier Kittrell of the home; two daughters, Donna K. Ball and husband, Jerry of Louisburg and Denise K. Weaver and husband, Hank of Franklinton; one brother, James Kittrell and wife, Pat of Greensboro; one sister, Martha K. Brooks and husband, Larry of Durham; one granddaughter, Brittani K. Weaver of Franklinton and one grandson, Brandon Ray Ball of Louisburg.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Asa Kittrell and Julian Kittrell.
The family will receive friends Fruday night from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Jerry and Donna Ball at 352 Moulton Road, Louisburg, N.C.
Serving as active pallbearers will be John A. Rogers, Freddie McGhee, James Rowland, Donnie Southerland, Mac Wilson, Bryant Bobbitt, James Dean, Darryl Spencer, and Cheatham Fuller.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Plank Chapel United Methodist Church, c/o Mildred Smith, P.O. Box 185, Kittrell, N.C. 27544.
Arrangements are by the J.M. White Funeral Home.
