The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary tonight at 8 p.m. Graveside service is incomplete at this time. Lori Anne Kittrell, 42, of Oak Ridge, died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Born Jan. 27, 1961, in Oak Ridge, she was the daughter of Harold and Reba Morgon Tompkins.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and her pets. She attended Oliver Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Kittrell; son, Matthew Ryan Smith of Oak Ridge; stepdaughter, Simone K. Wright and husband, David, of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Brenda Brackett; half-brothers, David Tompkins of Berea, Ky., Richard Tompkins of the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, and Steve Brackett; grandson, Camron Wright; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She considered Lisa Tarrance of Rockwood as her best friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Brackett.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge with the Rev. Bobby Barton officiating. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Crab Orchard Cemetery in Morgan County.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
