1 _MDCL John had black hair & olive complexion. The same features were shared by J.T. Vandergriff's children, Gordon & Dorothy, and Dorothy's son, Wayne McCarthy.

3. John made a tobacco box which was given to his daughter, Ada.

4. In 1977 the homeplace was owned by Mrs. J.H. (Vada Kirkpatrick)Stubblefield, 506 Schoonover, Pocahantas, Randolph, AK. She is a goodfriend of Lorah Nettles Johnson, daughter of Adar Elizabeth JaneVandergriff.
