Enfant(s):
Isaac Delamontanie, son of Abram Delamontanie and Rebecca Van Huyse, was the son who stayed closest to home during his adult life. He married his cousin Rachel Kortright before 1727. Rachel, daughter of Jelante Delamontanie and Bastiaen Michielsen Kortright, was born around 1700 and lived in the northern part of Harlem at Sherman's Creek. In 1738 Isaac and Rachel were living near his brothers-in-law David DeVoor and Andries Albody at Turtle Bay. He may have been employed in the shipyards there. Both Rachel and Isaac were still living in 1750 when they acted as godparents for their grandson Francois Peterson, who was baptized in the NYRDC on 24 October 1750. There is no record in the NYRDC of their deaths. Their only known daughter and her family moved north to Albany about 1759 and they might have moved north with her.
