Viola M. Visneski, 83, of Noxen, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at her home with family at her side. Viola was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Centermoreland, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Edith (London) Sickler. She attended the Noxen United Methodist Church. Viola was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to the care of family and friends. She lived a long and beautiful life and was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John A. Kovalick and
Chester E. Visneski. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sickler, and a grandson, John Kovalick. Surviving are her daughters Betty Newell and Barbara Crispell, both of Noxen: her sons, John A. Kovalick, Scranton; Charles J. Kovalick, Noxen; Ronald Visneski, Noxen; Chester E. Visneski, Benton; and Eugene Visneski, Noxen: 24 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held
Monday at 11 a.m. from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of state Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Leanne H. Campbell, pastor of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Perrins Marsh Cemetery, North Moreland Township. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
