MONTANYE FUNERAL THURSDAY
Miss A. May Montanye, 87, of 11 James St., Scotia, died yesterday in St. Clare's Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Esperance, Miss Montanye had lived in Schenectady over 50 years before moving to Scotia two and a half years ago. She was a stenographer at the General Electric Co., retiring in 1936, and was a member of the First English Lutheran Church of Schenectady and its women's society.
Survivors include a nephew, Walter C. Montanye of Scotia, a great niece, and seven great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ellis funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Kulman, pastor of the First English Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sloansville. The funeral home will be open after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
