In the 1820 Culpeper County Virginia Census, Elijah's son John is still near him and another son Payton is now in the census near his father. This family moved between the counties of Fauqier and the part that became Rappahannock County as well as Hampshire County West Virginia and had a connection to Loudoun County as well. At about the same time, 1820, we find some of Elijah's children in Muskingum County, Ohio.
