My father was also a Policeman in Rhodesia! He was for 20 years, he met my mother after the war when they both went to Southern Rhodesia (she was a nurse). They met in Fort Victoria and after they married he was stationed at Gutu and then Bikita. My Dad came to Africa with the Royal Tour of South Africa with King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.
