Biography
Richard Jordan was born Bet. 1615 - 1627 in England or Virginia, and died Bef. 03 May 1687 in Surry Co, VA, age around 62 to 72 years old.
He married Alice Bef. 30 Mar 1679 in VA. She died Bef. 01 Mar 1685/86 in Isle of Wight Co, VA. She was likely a widow Brown, and his second wife.
Children of Richard Jordan, Sr. and his first wife were:
Richard Jordan, Jr., born about 1635, died before 3 October 1699 in Southwark Parish, Surry County. Married Elizabeth Reynolds, daughter of Christopher Reynolds, on June, 1667 in Isle of Wight County.
John Jordan, Sr., (1650 - bef 1687) married Jane Brown
Although there were probably one or more daughters, only two sons can be identified, Richard Jordan II and John Jordan.

Not DNA related to Samuel Jordan, Ancient Planter; to Thomas Jordan who married Lucy Corker; nor to Thomas Jordan and Margaret Brasseur.
There is no documented proof or evidence at this time (2015)) showing the parents of Richard Jordan who was born at the least before 1625. He probably was born around 1620. He first appears in March of 1639 witnessing a deed in Isle of Wight Co, VA. The standard legal age to witness a deed in this time period was 13 or 14.

R. W. Baird (of the site Bob's Genealogy Filing Cabinet (link) has obtained courthouse documents that provide proof that the Richard Jordan, who married Elizabeth Reynolds, was the son of Richard Jordan, who married Alice Brown; it is not sure that Alice was his mother. ¬â€ He has posted info on Genforum.com.
