' 5. PETER FITZ REYNOLDS, Knt., of Chewton, Somerset, Broadmayne, Dorset, West Kington, Wiltshire, etc., younger son by his father's 2nd marriage, born about 1274 (aged 40 in 1314). He married (1st) ELA MARTEL, elder daughter and co-heiress of Roger Martel, Knt., of Hinton Martell and Broadmayne, Dorset, Glen Magna, Leicestershire, and Merston, Sussex, by his wife, Joan. She was born about 1273 (aged 7 in 1280). They had one son, Roger Martel. His wife, Ela, was living in 1304, but dead before 1322. He married (2nd) MAUD ___. SIR PETER FITZ REYNOLD died 18 Nov. 1322. His widow, Maud, married (2nd) Nicholas de Odecombe, Knight of the Shire for Somersetshire. She died 1 August 1349.
6. ROGER MARTEL, of Chewton, Somerset, son and heir apparent, born say 1295. He adopted his mother's surname. He married before 30 Nov. 1318 JOAN ___. probable daughter of Henry de Lorty, Knt., Lord Lorty, of Curry Rivell, Somerset, by his wife, Sibyl. They had one son, Henry, Knt. ROGER FITZ PETER died before 6 Dec. 1322.
