Maud/Matilda d'Avranches
There is much debate about whether she was the daughter of Robert d'Avranches or whether he was her first husband. The latter theory was presented by the monastic history of Ford Abbey, the credibility of which many medieval scholars have called into question. Another source, supported by the Peerages, clearly indicates that she was Robert's daughter:

Just in case someone actually believes the flawed family history produced by the monks of Ford (and a few people do judging by some of the pedigrees out there on the internet), here is a record which clearly shows that Maud, wife of Robert son of Henry I was the daughter of Robert d'Avranches and an heir of Richard fitz Baldwin.

The Fundationis et Fundatorum Historia of Ford Abbey records that လdomina Alicia uxor domini Randolphi Avenell filia suaဦunicam filiamဦMatildamဝ married လRoberto filio regis Henrici primi nothoဝ after the death of her first husband လRoberto de Abrincis id est de Averingesဝ[219]. She was heiress of the honour of Okehampton, Devon. Robert & his wife had one child

The Fundationis et Fundatorum Historia of Ford Abbey records that လdomina Alicia uxor domini Randolphi Avenell filia suaဦunicam filiamဦMatildamဝ married လRoberto filio regis Henrici primi nothoဝ after the death of her first husband လRoberto de Abrincis id est de Averingesဝ, and died လIX Kal Oct 1173ဝ[158]. m firstly as his second wife, ROBERT d´Avranches, son of [WILLIAM FitzWimund d´Avranches & his wife ---] (-before 1142). m secondly (1142) ROBERT, illegitimate son of HENRY I King of England & his mistress Edith of Greystoke (-31 May [1172]).

Maud may or may not have also been married to William de Crucy or Curcy, as noted by Burke's Peerage, though there is no evidence for this in the primary sources provided by the Medieval Lands database [Pam Wilson, 18 Februrary 2011]

Matilda d'Avranches, Dame du Sap is the daughter of Robert d'Avranches.1 She married William de Crucy.2 She married Robert fitz Edith, Baron of Okenhampton, son of Henry I 'Beauclerc', King of England and Edith Sigulfson.1 She died on 21 September 1173.
Matilda d'Avranches, Dame du Sap was also known as Maud d'Avranches.2 She gained the title of Dame du Sap. As a result of her marriage, Matilda d'Avranches, Dame du Sap was styled as Lady of Okenhampton.
