    He died on 16 March [1373]. Maud, aged 17 years and more, wife of John Lovel, knight, and daughter of Robert son of the deceased, was his next heir.

    Sir Robert Holand, 2nd Baron Holand, was born about 1312 in Upholland, Lancaster, England and died 26 December 1360 in . He married Margaret Hetton in 1337, born 1314 in Buthel, Lancashire, England, a daughter of Alan Hetton, (born 1288). The couple had two daughters, Jane Holand born in 1338 and died 1372 in Lancaster, England. and Margaret Holand (1340-1375)
    Jane Holand born about 1335 in Lancaster, England. She married William Molyneux in 1359. They had two sons, Richard Molyneux, born about 1360 in Sefton, Lancashire, England and Thomas Molyneux.
