The will of Richard Willard, of Horsmonden, dated 12 Feb. 1616, mentions "Thomas Humferie my Brother in Lawe," also, "Robert Goure of Stapelhurst, yeoman, by brother in Lawe," and "Thomas Raynes my Kindesman." (Willard Memor, pp. 54, 56, 57.)
"Goore, Robert, of Staplehurst, husbandman, and Ellen Reynes, same parish, widow, May 16, 1593." (Canterbury Mar. Lic.)
