Notes from his son Ed Wright, and daughter Shirley (Wright) Radulski
"He worked for the railroad , Ford Motor Co. and Packard Motor Car Co. He worked in Detroit at Ford's during the week (lived at Marx St. home then ?) and came home to the Grand Blanc farm on the weekends. The farm originally belonged to his mother-in-law Elizabeth TRACY DAVIS. CLIFFORD SYDNEY DAVIS died in 1937 and Ed & Clara took it over. His mother-in-law Elizabeth Davis lived on the farm with them and on Marx Street until she passed away. He bought a Ford Model A just before he was laid off from Ford's Highland Park Assembly during the depression.
Annella Wright said that Edward was raised by Aunt Nett. Ella was raised by Lincoln's sister, Eliza Wright Glover. Aunt Nette was Edith's sister-in-law, married to Edith's brother, Ed Lathrop. Fran remembers that Uncle Ed bought her ice cream cones in Clio. Ed Lathrop was already dead when James Wright married Annella who remembers that Aunt Nett later lived in a little house in Clio. She was ill, unable to leave the house and she had a visiting nurse. Clara did not tell her son James that Nett had died and James was unhappy that he was thus unable to attend her funeral. Frances did not know about it either.
Frances said Edward's sister Ella lived near Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan
She said her dad had a good singing voice.
