Cornelius died Bef Dec 1646. )From "The Bogart Family" by Marge Waterfield On 3/9/1629, he conveyed to Raoelf Van Braeckle, baliff of Schoonrwoerd, a debenture of 48 guilders. His name appeared frequently in the court records. Dropped the "in den" from name. son Tunis Gysbert came to America in 1652 and settled in Brooklyn where the population was 69. He came to America with his wife Dirkje, his son Henrick, and his brother Gysbert. He was a cousin to Jan Laurens Bogaert of Harlem and Tunis Bysbet Bogaert of Brookln. He settled in Rensselaerwyck, where he held lands under Patroon Van Rensselaer in 1641, and owned lands in beberwyck,now Albany. April 22, 1661, he purchased a house and garden from Han Barenson Wemp, of Albany. July 29, 1661, he purchased property from Barent Van Marle.
