All debts & funeral expenses paid first.
To wife Elizabeth: Interest on 400 pounds, 100 pounds directly 2 cows, 2 sheep household goods, utensils and needs for her natural life.
exclusive of what agreed on with son Jacob dated 10 Apr 1803 which to be in lieu of her dower.
The rest of estate to children & grandchildren:
To Sons John & Jacob & Daughters Elizabeth (Jacob Bechtel), Hannah (John Shantz) and the grandchildren for daughters Maria (Jacob Kepner), Magdalena deceased(Jacob Hoch), & Catharine deceased (John Gohman) [I read this name as Gehman], except the 4 grandchildren of Isaac Brower deceased the 1st husband of dau Maria decd. An additional sum to make up 500 pounds to each child's share including what I have advanced to them& allowances made in the lands already conveyed, Provided no additional sum over 420 pounds advanced to dau Maria. $20 to grandchildren of dau Maria & $20 to her in lieu of the 80 pounds short of the $500 pounds.- including her dau Susannah Fansenhauser [I disagree here, I think the name was Kunsenhauser which later evolved into Gunsehauser ] but neither Susannah nor any of Jacob Kepner's children shall receive any part of the residue remaining but wholly to be divided between the 2 sons (john & Henry) of Daniel Brower deceased as they attain the lawful age. I bequeath to granddaughter Susannah Fansenhausernd [Kunsenhauser] additional $10.
