Bio: A Bollinger fraktur printed in 1763 at the Ephrata Cloister and now in possession of the New England Historic Genealogical Society lists the children of Rudolph Bollinger. The entry for Barbara is as follows:

Im Jahr Christi 1736, den 15:16 ten Januarius ist unsere Tochter BARBARA BOLLINGER gebohren an der Connestogue. Alt 27 Jahr, 1763

"In the year 1736, on 15/16 January was our daughter Barbara Bollinger born on the Conestoga. Age 27 years, 1763"

Barbara was born before the switch in English lands to the Gregorian calendar, so the assumption is that the date of her birth is O.S. (Old Style). The use of 15/16 perhaps suggests that she was born sometime in the middle of the night.

Inscription: Prior inventories have recorded a stone "B. Z. 1808", but that marker could not be found in 2012.
