Other Russians settlers made the trip too, and together with the Ruders they docked at New York City later that year. From New York they immediately traveled to Kansas, and camped on Big Creek, North of the present site of Munjor, Kansas. Two months later, the settlers moved to Section 25, Range 17, Township 14, of Ellis County and established the town of Munjor, Kansas.
