She rarely ever mentioned hard times, only the good times they had. Quilting and sewing were among her many talents, she made dozens of quilts, but only to give them to her children, grand-children, great grand-children, other relatives and friends. She had not a one to her claim at her passing; every last one has been given away. Addie accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized December 5, 1954. Her entire life was spent serving Christ through others. She was a faithful member of the Roscoe Christian Church and enjoyed working with the ladies aid for the betterment of her church. As Eula's health failed, they moved to the Osceola Housing Complex in 1975. She then attended the Osceola Christian Church as long as her health permitted. She had a group of dear friends that would take her to church and many Sundays they had lunch together. She loved that so very much. Addie was preceded in death by her beloved husband on March 6, 1976, and by their twin daughters, three infant sisters, one other sister, seven brothers, two sons-in-law and one grandson. Grandma Addie also leaves 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, who were all so very precious to her. She leaves sons-in-law and daughters-in-law whom she loved as if her very own children. This was another one of her fine qualities. She also leaves one brother, Frank Mallicoat of Monegaw Springs, Missouri, several nieces, nephews and many, many friends like her special friend, Dorothy Hoppe. She leaves an empty spot in the lives of everyone who knew her that can never be filled. Her loving memorys lives on in our hearts and minds, to be cherished as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her life was and remains an example of Christ likeness for all to follow. Our loss is certainly our Lord's gain.
