Born May 9, 1921 in Collins, Missouri to Pete and Lena Ella (Lewis) Burkhart, he served as an Army Medic in World War II and won the Silver Star. Mr. Burkhart was a foreman at the Padlock Ranch for over 29 Years, retiring seven years ago. A brother, Albert Theodore Burkhart died in 1975 and a brother, Frank Burkhart East Lynne, Missouri, died in June, 1988. Survivors include two Sister, Dorothy Ann Peterie, Collins, Missouri and Ollie Sylvia Cramner, Humansville, Missouri.: several nieces and nephews. Services were at Champion Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Anderson officiating. Burial was in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Sheridan, Wyoming. ****************************
