Katherine de Hastang was the daughter of Sir John de Hastang, Steward of the Queen's household, by his wife, Eve.
Katherine married Ralph de Stafford, KG, before 9 Feb 1327.
Ralph and Katherine had two daughters:
1. Margaret de Stafford married Sir John de Stafford.
2. Joan de Stafford married Sir Nicholas de Beek. They had one daughter, Elizabeth. Nicholas died shortly before 24 Jul 1369.
NOTE: Richardson records show Ralph de Stafford also had a daughter named Joan with his second wife, Margaret de Audley. That Joan de Stafford married (1st) John de Cherleton and (2nd) Gilbert Talbot.
Death
Katherine probably died before 6 July 1332, when Ralph de Stafford married (2nd) Margaret de Audley.
