William Crabtree I and wife Jane came from Yorkshire County England near
Leeds in 1705 to Baltimore Md. Baltimore county is now known as Harford
County. King Charles II had
given two land grants to an ancestor of WilliamI. William II was born in
1704 in England. He married Mary Pyke Feb. 17th, 1725 and moved to
Southwest Virgina and is buried in North
Carolina. The birth, marriage, and death records of William and Jane's
children are on file in St. Johns parish Register in Baltimore, Md. John
Crabtree, son of Wm and Jane was born
Sept. 5th 1718 and married Hannah Butcher. I have more information so if
there are specific questions you have feel free to email me at

extensive and does list sources. Not having done the research myself, I

out the two lines.... :-)
