Patsy: Here's what I have on Mary Ann Flournoy and Peter Mahone.
Mary Ann was born 1766 in Chestefield, VA, the third of twelve
children born to Gibson Flournoy and Mary "Polly" Farmer. She married
Peter
Mahone 6 Feb 1784 in Chesterfield, VA and died 1846 in Georgia. Peter was
born 21 Apr 1730 (parents unknown) and died 22 Jun 1807 in Baldwin, GA.
At
the moment, I can't explain the difference in their ages - 54 and 18 when
married. They had at least 3 children: Rolan; Thomas; and Peter Flournoy.
Thomas born 1790 in Chesterfield, married Nancy Jones Marshall 31
May
1810 in Putnam, GA and died 1873 in Crenshaw, AL. Peter Flournoy Mahone
was
born 17 Jan 1795 in Chesterfield, married Elizabeth Henry Marshall 29 Feb
1816 and died 9 Sep 1850 in Talbot, GA.
Peter and Elizabeth had 7 children: Emmaline Amanda; Caroline E.;
James Monroe; Peter Flournoy II; Tillman Henry; Martha; and Mary Ann.
Hope this helps.
