1. COLSWEIN of Lincoln . m ---. The name of Colswein´s wife is not known. Colswein & his wife had one child:
a) PICOT (-after May 1111). လPicotus filius Colwani Linc. cum uxore et quodam nepoteဦRicardi et quadam nepteဦCeciliaဝ donated revenue from "villaဦSuttona et Luttona" to Spalding Monastery, in the presence of "ipso Pichoto uxore eius Beatriceဦ", by charter dated May 1111[332]. A charter of King Henry II records donations to York St Mary, including the donation of land လin Lincoln ecclesiam sancti Petrဝ by လPicotusဝ[333]. A charter of King Henry II records donations to York St Mary, including the donation of land လin Lincolniaဦet le Hevedlandဝ by လPicotus filius Colsuanniဝ[334]. m BEATRICE, daughter of --- (-after May 1111). လPicotus filius Colwani Linc. cum uxore et quodam nepoteဦRicardi et quadam nepteဦCeciliaဝ donated revenue from "villaဦSuttona et Luttona" to Spalding Monastery, in the presence of "ipso Pichoto uxore eius Beatriceဦ", by charter dated May 1111[335]. Picot & his wife had one child:
i) MURIEL . Her parentage and marriage are confirmed by the charter dated May 1111 which records that လPicotus filius Colwani Linc. cum uxore et quodam nepoteဦRicardi et quadam nepteဦCeciliaဝ donated revenue from "villaဦSuttona et Luttona" to Spalding Monastery, in the presence of "ipso Pichoto uxore eius Beatriceဦ"[336]. Henry I King of England confirmed the possessions of Holy Trinity, Lessay, including the donations by "Robertus de Haia Ricardus et Eudonis nepos" [which appears to be garbled] with the advice of "Muriele uxoris sue et filiorum suorum RicardiဦRadulfi", by charter dated 1126[337]. Henry II King of England confirmed the possessions of the abbey of Lessai, including donations by "Turstini Haldup et Eudonis filii eius" confirmed by "Roberti de Haia et Murielis uxoris sue et Richardi et Radulfi filiorum eorum", by charter dated [1185/Jan 1188][338]. m [as his second wife,] ROBERT de la Haye, son of RANULF & his wife --- ([1075/80]-[1150]).
