If the date of Marguerite's marriage is correctly estimated below (which depends on the existence of her husband's supposed second wife, see TOULOUSE NOBILITY-LANGUEDOC), she must have been born late in her father's life. ·Äú Aimery IV viscount of Narbonne and Marguerite his wife ·Äù donated rights to ·Äú prudhommes de Narbonne ·Äù by charter dated 8 Mar 1217 (OS?) [956]. The date of this charter contradicts the 5 Oct 1221 which records the death of Aimery's supposed second wife. It is not known which document is incorrect.
