Sir Robert Grey, Kt.
Gender:
Male
Birth:
circa 1333
Rotherfield Greys, Oxfordshire, England
Death:
February 25, 1387 (50-58)
Place of Burial:
St Nicholas church, Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom
Immediate Family:
Son of Sir John de Grey, Jr., 2nd Baron Grey of Rotherfield and Avice Grey
Husband of Lora Pole, Lady
Father of Elizabeth Fitzhugh, Baroness Ravensworth
Brother of Joan Willoughby; Maud de Grey and John de Grey, Baron Marmion
Half brother of Sir John de Grey, III, 3rd Baron Grey of Rotherfield
Where is the evidence that Sir Robert Marmion Grey was born at Ravensworth in North Yorkshire? His daughter married into the FitzHugh family, who were the owners of this castle, so it's likely that Sir Robert's grandchildren were born here but it's very unlikely that he himself was.
