Elizabeth (Willoughby de Broke), widow of Sir Fulk Greville, died seised of the (Mitton) manor in 1563 and was succeeded by her son Fulk, (fn. 199) who sold the manor in 1571 to Giles Reed. (fn. 200) Giles died seised of it in 1611, when it passed to his son John. (fn. 201) John Reed seems to have been succeeded by Edward Reed, probably his son, before 1627. (fn. 202) Richard Reed and his wife Eleanor and Edward Reed and others conveyed the manor in 1638·Äì9 to Thomas Lord Coventry and others. (fn. 203)

Some online sources place Giles' birthdate as 1541, and death date as 1611. Haven't found anyone quoting any authority that confirms this. I've seen both Edward and Giles used for his given name, both from relatively authoritative sources.
Melissa Thompson Alexander also suggests the title for Giles could be the Lord of Tisburie (there is a Tisbury near Salisbury in Wiltshire, and one mentioned in Somersetshire - south of Bristol and Gloucestershire). However, most sources (including established ones) suggest that Tusburie (Tusbury) is the correct title.

The death date was determined from a passage about the Church of St. Giles in Bredon published by British History Online:
    http://www.british-history.ac.uk/report.aspx?compid=43123
The church of ST. GILES consists of a chancel 45¬Î© ft. by 20¬Î© ft., nave 60¬Î© ft. by 23 ft., a central tower 13¬Î© ft. square between them, a north aisle 33 ft. by 10¬Î© ft., south aisle 32¬Î© ft. by 18¬Î© ft. and a north porch. These measurements are all internal.
The west pair of lancet windows is blocked by the Reed monument.

Above the cornice is a central arched panel with Reed's quartered coat, surmounted by a black eagle displayed, which is Reed's crest, between two obelisks. On either side of the main arch under which the effigies lie are small side canopies with Ionic capitals carrying ball obelisks, and beneath them are the kneeling figures of eight children, with an inscription recording that John Reed set up the tomb to his parents and that he lies in the south wall near by.
