central Pasquotank Co.
Dempsey and Jemima eventually came to Washington Co., IN, a s the Hoosier
Journal of Ancestry (p. 25) reports they sold land to Jeofr ey Prince in
October, 1816 in Washington Co.
We have no record of their children except for one mentio n in meeting records
in 1805, in which "Demcey and s. Jesse, requested certifica tes to Suttons MM."
and on the same date Jemima made the same request, as she h ad removed with her
husband. Jesse may or may not have moved to Indiana.
