Verhalen van onmogelijke liefdes, van Hylke Speerstra

Het tragische verhaal van Ynskje, die in 1928 door Jappie Brouwer werd vermoord, is door “Fryslân Lêst Syn Toppers” uitgekozen als voorbeeld van een onmogelijke liefde. Dit verhaal staat in ‘It wrede paradys – it ferfolch’ (vanaf blz. 17). Overigens bevat Speerstra’s laatste boek meer voorbeelden van onmogelijke liefdes. Zoals het verhaal van een vader die bij thuiskomst tegen zijn dochter zei dat hij haar verkering had uitgemaakt, alleen omdat haar vrijer een iets ander geloof had (zie blz.60).
