Notes about Aaltje Melles Bootsma

Onzeker of geboortedatum en -plaats juist is, evenals namen van ouders. Onduidelijk of Aaltje uit Warffum of Warfhuizen kwam (onduidelijk handschrift). Het eerste is niet onwaarschijnlijk, aangezien er daar in 1781 een Melle was die een Aaltje liet dopen. Het tweede is echter ook niet onwaarschijnlijk. Waarom zouden Aaltje en Harm immers in 1803 in Warfhuizen trouwen? Er is daar echter geen dopeling te vinden die Aaltje(n) heet en een vader heeft met de naam Melle.
Vreemd is verder dat Aaltje pas bij overlijden de familienaam Bootsma gebruikt en niet bij de geboorte van haar laatste vier kinderen.
