Jan Allers wordt in het Haardstedenregister van Peize 1742 vermeld met nering, in het Register van Nieuwe Huizen in 1745 als meier van de kinderen van Allert Luinge (de herberg aan de Kerkstraat naast de kerk).
Op 2-10-1746 tekent Annigje Ottens, weduwe van Jan Allers een schuldbekentenis voor een bedrag van 36 gld. 17 st. vanwege door Jan Jansen te Roden aan Jan Allers geleverde wijnen en brandewijn. De schuldbekentenis wordt in Peize ingeschreven op 18-2-1747 door Albert Hindriks als pander.
Jan Allers mogelijk overleden voor de geboorte van zijn zoon? Jan Alderts, die dan iets jonger zou zijn dan in 1797 aangegeven. Jan Alders erft in 1791 evenals de kinderen van Arend Kosters en Annegien Ottens van zijn tante Wibbegien Ottens.
