    1874 eene geweldige storm heeft gewoed in de Noordzee, zoodat het naar hun eenstemmig gevoelen zoo goed als zeker is, dat het schip “de Martje Doornbos” in dien storm is vergaan met man en muis en het mitsdien ook zoo goed als zeker is, dat hun familie lid Feike van Driesum als gezegd in ’t begin van Februari 1874 bij dien schipbreuk is gebleven, redenen waarom van hem geene overlijdensakte kan worden overgelegd.
