Volgens het bevolkingsregister van Burum (tot 1880) verandert zij van godsdienst. Ze was Nederlands Hervormd en wordt Christelijk Gereformeerd. Ze komt op 9 mei 1876 vanuit Winsum (Gr.) naar Burum met de kinderen Imke, Johannes en Rinze.
Uit het bevolkingsregister blijkt tevens dat zij in 1884 naar Noord-Amerika is geemgreerd.
In 1889 wonen zij en haar vier kinderen Johannes, Rinze, Imke en Willemke in hetzelfde huis in Grand Rapids.
