Notes about Johan VERLOOP


Hij zette - als chauffeur en expediteur - het familie vervoer-bedrijf voort (per boot en auto-dienst), na de dood van zijn twee broers in 1940. Johan zet het bedrijf alleen voort. Hij gaat weer varen met de 'Drie Gebroeders' en wel voor de wederopbouw van Alblasserdam.
In 1967 zien we op het industrieterrein Vinkenwaard te Alblasserdam een nieuw automobiel- en garagebedrijf onstaan van N. Verloop en Zonen N.V.
Op 29 maart 2010 gaat het bedrijf van de Gebroeders Verloop over in handen van Maat Transport (is onderdeel van de Maat Groep). Gebroeders Verloop stopt na 165 jaar omdat er binnen het bedrijf geen opvolging is.
