Hij was meester smid (1695 en 1703/04) en in 1713: Juriaen Verloop, gewezen smid te
Strijen, debiteur, procuratie (55). In 1705 en 1706 - rondom het overlijden van zijn vrouw
was hij kennelijk vaak dronken en agressief met plaatsgenoten. Hij werd op 1 mei 1706
gedaagd voor de Vierschaar van StrijenÖ. uitspraak en afloop vooralsnog onbekend.
In de verpondingen van Strijen in 1731 en 1750 komt de achternaam Verloop niet meer voor.
